About Your Trainer
Steve Hueston has over a decade of dog training experience! He started as a young child working with American Pitbull Terriers as his grandfather and uncles had a breeding program! Later in life Steve joined the Marines, and was blown away with the Dual Purpose K9 teams! These dogs could detect explosives and would do apprehension work!
Steve started training with a Schutzhund Club in Tennessee after he got out of the military which furthered his knowledge and re-ignited his passion for training dogs on every level!
Steve moved to the Vail valley in 2014 and made the valley a permanent residence, and in recent years has made dog training his primary focus and job!
Steve has developed a reputation in the valley as a Balanced Dog trainer and gives excellent nutritional advice for his clients local and abroad!
Steve welcomes any and all dogs for his training program, including aggression and spans the spectrum to working with police and protection dogs as well and everything in between!
